Good Hope FM is one the largest regional radio stations in the highly competitive Cape market. Being an innovative station with a target market that is very SMS savvy, they wanted a comprehensive SMS management system that would be hassle-free, easy to use and would help to cement their dominant position in the market.

In January 2004, Good Hope FM became the first radio station in SA to sign a deal with Fontera to make use of the RadioTXT system. The phased roll-out of RadioTXT began in January and the product became an immediate success.

Since then Lotus FM, Ukhozi FM, Motsweding FM and Metro FM have all begun using the RadioTXT system from Fontera.
