SonyEricsson wanted to make a big bang with the launch of the new K300i in the UK and decided to take the Fame Academy concept a little further by making use of new MMS technology. Fontera was called on by SonyEricsson and their agency, Beep Marketing, to develop an integrated MMS platform that would allow them to receive incoming MMS’s from entrants, moderate them on the go and then publish the acceptable pics directly on the micro site that had been developed for the campaign. Not only was the campaign really funny, but it worked very well and pics were received well after the end date.
